Create Joy

“Joy

is not

in things;

it is

in us.”

Out of kindness you may give things

that may benefit others,

but the true joy is in the giving.

Know that things are important

but not really necessary to share a kindness;

give a smile, a kind word, a helping hand,

but, if you have some extra stuff lying around,

feel free to share.

Today, create your joy by trying to make this world

a better place for all.

Kindness is creating joy within ourselves.

Kindness is the beginning of a life filled with love.

    I like this. So very true.
    The definition of joy, for my dog anyway, is when he see’s me put shoes on. Then he begins spinning in circles…of joy.

      Pavlov may have experimented with dogs but are we not conditioned in similar ways ???
      We can begin each new day with an attitude of gratitude, a CHOICE to be happy, joyous and free. Free is no guilt, shame or resentments for things we have done or deserved.
      May you and yours have a happy and joyous weekend.
      Thank you for the kind comment.

    At least the kitchen redo was only a face lift. The link in ‘Rewind’ shows the longer version and a good bit of summary. And that there is still stuff to be done. But the positives do outweigh the negatives. We ended up with some large boxes and a bunch of foam pieces, (maybe not every UPS office does this) but the UPS office around the bend took the larger boxes and the foam…I used to bring them bags of foam peanuts from when I was working part time. And they still know me as the gal who brought them ‘Peanuts’ – even though that was years ago. Recycling is a type of kindness too – those things you can no longer use; pass them on. Our old microwave is going to my son, and any pots I can’t use. What they don’t want will go to good will. As did the old kitchen overhead fixture.

    Be well and as always thanks for your kindness in visiting.
