A Simple Religion

“This is my

simple religion.

There is no need

for temples;

no need for

complicated philosophy.

Our own brain,

our own heart

is our temple;

the philosophy is kindness.”

— Dalai Lama

Jesus had no church,

Mohammed had no mosque,

Abraham had no temple, and

Buddha had a tree to sit under.

They and many more were teachers of love,

anointed by the Spirit of the Universe,

saints who had a simple philosophy,

a desire to make this world a better place for all.

Kindness is the philosophy of a simple religion.

Kindness is the beginning of a life filled with love.
